We visited Mesa Verde National Park in July 2004
Coming from Durango, it's an impressive mountain at the left side of the road.

Mesa Verde National Parc

Once crossed the entrance of the park, we had to drive 21 more miles up to the arceological sites.

On the way, there are lots of stops with incredible views over the valley.

Cons:Long waiting time before visiting the Indian remains.
