THE CHICAGO RIVER

Chicago River
This is where it all started. Just two centuries ago, imagine this place as a swampy shores of Lake Michigan. Wild onions flourished there that Potawatomi Indians named it "Checaugou". Traders soon came and this settlement rapidly grew to a bustling city.
Chicago's Skyline

Chicago's Skyline

The modern Chicago skyline rose from the rubble of the Great Fire of 1871. Frank Lloyd Wright, Mies Van Der Rohe, Daniel Burnham and Louis Sullivan left a mark on this great city.
