"South Korea - I never thought I fall for you..." South Korea by JuraidahJ

In first half of 1999, I was so bored with life as I was very sick. In late September when a friend ask if I want to join her and her friends to S. Korea, without hesitation, I said yes. In our group, 5 ladies and 3 guys, I'm was the only Malay and the rest are Chinese.
It never cross my mind to visit this beautiful country. I fell in love with Seoul on the first day I was there. I guess autumn play a part too. I love this part of the year.
We had so much fun, well, I thought travelling a group of chinese friends, they will be my tour guide but instead I was the one who lead the group. As it turns out this is the first trip for all of them!
Get ready for a good laugh as I share this journey to S Korea with you. getting lost in Seoul and having an arguement with the police....etc.. nah.. nothing seriuos ; ))
The main problem of our journey is communication - we speak chicken language and they speak duck!! But we manage to get by and visited all the places we wanted to.
However, please bear with me as I've lost all my notes on this fasinating country and some spelling of the place might not be correct.
- Pros:Interesting culture and very discipline country
- Cons:Most of the ppl do not speak English.. quite difficult to move about on your own
- In a nutshell:A world to themselves

considering that their brothers in the North Korea live in such terrible conditions.. I cannot understand why South Koreans are so happy.. I saw a film about that which I shall never forget..
