Erected on the water, Venice is an unending movie set with 150 canals, 411 bridges and 118 isles, making it unique with respect to other Italian and European cities. Also unique is the light reflected from the water onto the magnificent palaces along the Grand Canal (3,800 m), the S-shaped canal intersecting the city. Venice is also a capital of the art world: Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque styles are transformed into an architectural language characteristic only in this city set between East and West.I have been there for 5 days at the end of March 07. It was my third time there. I loved it again!
