I have a car, so getting around isn't a problem,...unless you count the traffic jams, the near impossible task of finding a parking lot...and the expensive parking...
So...be clever...avoid peak hours...if you happen to get stuck...oh well, at least you're not the only one!
Personally, I rate KL's public transport as quite good...The new trains bring you everywhere...I don't like the buses though. My favourite is the Putra LRT- Fast, efficient, modern...Clean...and convenient. Gets you to many places- different routes from the Star LRT.

Ah...shopping...I just can't live without it...I usually get angry if the pre-sale perviews for members are on when I'm not free; cause that's the best day to go! Even if you're a foreign tourist, sometimes it's really worth it to join on the spot with a minimal fee, since the promotions are really great! My personal favourite is Tangs @ Star Hill.
There are tons of things to shop in KL and at such value for money, it's quite sinful not to shop. Okay okay...so its a matter of personal preference...but to me, shopping is a must.

Well, I wanna make it clear that Putrajaya and Kuala Lumpur- they are two different places- but since VT doesn't have Putrajaya on it's map for the time being; so I guess I'll just hafta put in under the Kuala Lumpur page.
