Thanks for visiting my site...duh, it's been made in a hurry... Well, I live in Kuala Lumpur, and I've travelled to the whole of Malaysia...well, most of the places actually. I love to travel, and most of the time I try to find the best place to stay with the best price....(doesn't everyone?) Particularly familiar with Penang, Malacca, Kuala Lumpur and Kajang (anyone for satay?) So don't hesitate to drop me a line if you're gonna visit Malaysia.
Travelling is one of my best...erm, hobbies...favourite pastime...; lazing by the pool, watching a sunset, lazing by the beach bar, that sort of thing. One of the most relaxing and memorable times was lazing at the Shangri-La Rasa Sayang in Penang, definately a great hotel for relaxing...nice beach bar with great drinks too!
When I travel, I try to bring everything; my friends think I go on a fashion parade, but I rather have my stuff with me (by that I mean clothes!) rather than gettin' new ones while travelling...of course, when I travel, I try to shop too! Bric and brac, local curios and handicrafts...magnets and bookmarks...postcards; (to show off where you've been!~) |
| | Travel...travel...picky traveller Well, when I travel, I like to travel in comfort (hey, who doesn'!?) Generally, I try to find the best routes, best airlines, best hotels (at least until my budget allows)...at least in Malaysia, I can try to find better hotels since most of the time they offer great deals to locals. There was once when I was in Penang, I searched for 3-4 star hotels in my budget range when I finally found a room in the Shangri-La Penang for that price. Hard to believe eh? That's why, when travelling, some homework does pay off. Also, when flying; at least with Malaysia Airlines- never tried Air Asia before, heard they're good.; Anyway, I demand acceptable levels of service.; at least for the price I pay. Most of the time, MAS is great, with some exceptions with the ground crew. (anyway after an incident they did send me an apology) When eating overseas, I try to get as local as possible, but the call of hunger for Malaysian and Chinese food always gets out of hand, so yeah, it's tummy over mind, so lucky they're so many Chinatowns around! Oh yeah, and was I glad to spot smell 'sambal belacan' when I stepped into the Malaysian Hall Dining Hall in London! wow! |
2005- What's in and what's out? More trips around Malaysia this time...perhaps a short trip overseas but no confirmed plans yet... |
