The Charles Hotel is located in the Mala Strana or lesser town across the river from most of the action but only 150 meters from the Charles Bridge. This is good if you want a quieter night's sleep. I enjoyed this hotel very much. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and the rooms were quite nice, with big windows, comfortable beds and cable television. However the buffet breakfast is a little on the skimpy side.
Unique Qualities: The ceilings in the rooms have handpainted renaissance touches...
