"What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas"

The "Strip", Las Vegas - Nov 2006
Although lots of "family attractions" are also avalilable nowadays for tourists, the town still lives up to its reputation for being a mecca for world class entertainment. The concentration of night lights, gourmet restaurants, shows, and clubs onthe "Strip" are unlike anything else in the world, not in Tokyo, Paris, or Rio de Janeiro.
In biblical lingo, it may be Soddom and Gommorah all over again, but did you know it's also golfer's Eden. Plus there is tango, boating and fishing, and even skiing nearby Mt Charleston. Why the only things missing are think tanks, brokerage houses, beaches and rain; I wonder why (lol).
Angel Park GC, Las Vegas - Mar 2006

A golf haven!

There is no shortage of top ranked golf courses in Vegas. TPC Canyons, Pauite, Angel Park, Bali Hai and Reflection Bay ($125 - $250 for tourists) are just a few examples. Bali Hai is right on the Strip, a couple of blocks from Mandalay Bay and the rest are within a a 10-20 minute drive away. Now for the "high rollers" at Wynn, they can play at Shadow Creek for a mere $500 for a round. You see, if you can afford $5,000./pull slot maches or $1,000. minimum bet blackjack tables, a$500 golf round is a bargain. Too rich for my blood!

For nature lovers!

For non-golfers, if you want to take a break from gambling and the night life during your stay in Vegas, Red Rock is a short 30 minute drive west of the Strip. It's a beautiful natural rock formation complete with trails and scenic high desert views.

Cons:"It's not a religious pilgrimage destination!"
In A Nutshell:"A Disneyland for adults!"
