We stayed in Grandcamp Maisy because it is very close to Pointe du Hoc. (My homepage expains why we wanted to come to Pointe du Hoc.)

We found this part of Normandy to be very interesting and a fun place to spend a week. Not too many people here spoke English so we tried to speak our limited French.
