Zhongshan Travel Guide: 24 reviews and 50 photos
This is one of many manufacturing cities in the Pearl River Delta. This city is located south of Guangzhou and famed for the birthplace of Dr. Sun Yat Sen, revolutionist in the early 20th Century to overthrow the last Imperialist.
On one visit, I came here to visit a fruit research facility and observed many different tropical fruits, including guava and dragon fruit.
Shenwan Pineapples are famous in this part of China. The size of these pineapples are small (fist-sized)! They can be purchased in Shenwan, on the outskirts of Zhongshan.
