Nagoya - Laid Back City east of Osaka

Nagoya, a major industrial city in Japan lies to the east of Osaka. It is about an hour shinkansen ride from JR Shin-Osaka station. Although a city, there is not the frenzy of people such as in Tokyo or Osaka.

JR Nagoya Station
Nagoya is now famous due to the Aichi Expo 2005. The Expo site is located about a 35min bus ride from JR Nagoya Station. It runs from 25 Mar to 25 Sept 2005.
