Justice is a knee in the gut from the floor on the chin at night sneaky with a knife brought up down on the magazine of a battleship sandbagged underhanded in the dark without a word of warning.

That's what Justice is.

We can only hope and dream.

And if there's one more hour in my day, thats alright.

I was driving through the grounds of a hospital in Dublin. I came to a tight corner and a little old lady was coming the other way in a small car. She leaned out as we passed and politely asked me if this was the way to the main entrance. I said yes, just follow the road around. She told me how she had come from another part of Dublin, possibly only a few km away and no where along the route had she seen any signposts about how to get here.

This is one of my pet peeves about Dublin, the lack of signposts, if you don't know where you are going you have no chance of getting there.

She asked was I from Dublin, I told her I was from just outside it.

"Whereabouts just outside?"

"Meath" I answered.

"Ah I thought I could hear some Meath in your accent."

I thought that was a strange conversation to have between two cars. I hadn't seen anything yet.

She continued "You have a very nice beard."

"Well, thank you!"

"You know one of the biggest regrets I have about getting old is that I never kissed a man with a beard."

And then she drove off leaving myself and my passenger bursting out in laughter.

Sweetest thing thats happened to me in a long time.

I don't do Coldplay. Or Travis.

Kim Deal is very cool. The Dandy Warhols were right.

The Go Team! rock. As do Clap Your Hands Say Yeah. And Sigur Ros are cool as f**k.

What can you do when there isn't enough time? Not much apparently. Just suffer.
