Westminster Abbey: Strolling Around Westminster Abbey
  • Tip Rating: [Not enough ratings yet]
  • I spent hours just walking around The Abbey and It's grounds. After you take the tour spend some time exploring the outside of London's most historic church. You will see some great examples of 11th & 12th Century architecture.

Westminster Abbey: Entrance To The North Transept
  • Tip Rating: [Not enough ratings yet]
  • I was blown away at the entrance of the North Transept. The stone work is amazing. This is the Image of Christ in Majesty being held up by angels.

    Westminster Abbey: Beautiful Doorways
  • Tip Rating: [Not enough ratings yet]
  • The Archways & Entrances are so cool. Such great detail and workmanship went into the design. This is an entrance to The Nave on the North Side of The Abbey.

Palace of Westminster ("Houses of Parliament"): Gradiose Victorian Architecture
  • Tip Rating: [Not enough ratings yet]
  • This place has been the sight of parliamentary meetings since 1265. This was the one place I had to visit and spend some time strolling around. I have always been amazed at the architecture of The Houses of Parliament Building. I finally get to see it all in person.

Palace of Westminster ("Houses of Parliament"): Big Ben
  • Tip Rating: [Not enough ratings yet]
  • I am trying to determine which is the most recognizable sight associated with London. The Double Decker Buses, The Red Phone Booths or Big Ben. Every post card I have ever seen from London features Big Ben. So I guess when people picture London they are actually seeing Big Ben.
