Javi´s sister and her husband gave us a weekend in Tortosa as our Christmas present. I was not so sure I wanted to go there, specially in January. I had a very different picture of Tortosa in my mind. WQhen we got to the town, I got very excited. It is a beautiful town, with a lot of people and stores in the new downtown, lot´s of pictures in the old downtown, and peaceful places, pictures and great rice around town. This was a very romantic weekend. I fell in love with the Cathedral and the Castle with is now a 4 star Parador. At the guided boat tour we went to a restaurant (included in the package) and I have paella for the first time in 5 years (I am allergic to shell fish and they made one special for me. |
