"Life Out There" Summit by pattyandkent
Summit Travel Guide: 15 reviews and 14 photos
If you haven't been to the beaches north of Miami since a long ago college spring break, it may be time to think about a return visit. Once officials in towns like Fort Lauderdale decided to change the image of the community and court a more sophisticated tourist, the change is noticeable. Great restaurants, fun clubs and beautiful beaches abound.
With its tree-lined streets, vibrant downtown and architecturally-interesting historic homes, Summit is more than just a great commuter town. Excellent public and private schools, a variety of shopping destinations and an excellent assortment of places to eat make it a place worth spending time.
