Venice will always be very special to me not just because of the beauty and history of this fantastic place but mainly because of the family ties, my dear old mum who is italian was born in traviso which is just outside venice and some of the family still live there so part of me will always be there. I will never forgett the first time my mum took me to venice to show me off to the family, i was only 10 then and mass tourism had not yet started to really take off like it has today, the look of awe on my face was amazing and the feeling of exitement on that first ever visit will stay with me for the rest of my life. THIS ONES FOR YOU MUM. |
