One drawback about most citys around the world is its very built up and alanya is no exeption

WATCH OUT FOR THE TREES

In Turkey and Alanya is no exeption they seem to go all out to make it as hard as they can for pedestrians to walk on the pavement, as beautiful as they are why oh why do they have to plant trees right in the middle of the paths, this is not only stupid but very painfull if you walk into one, especially if its got spines sticking out LOL

BEACHES

If you ever visit Alanya, then try to get accommadation on the right of the fortress. Although Alanya has miles of sandy beach, most of the left side is covered in rocks, so swimming is difficult to say the least, but on the other side of the fortress the swimming is perfect, although te sea can get a bit choppy in the afternoon

PRICE PROMISE

If you dicide to visit the spectacular fortress there are taxis that wait at the bottom to take you up, unfortunately this is one of the only ways to get up there and it is this you have to be weary of. Dont jump in the first taxi that you see, ask how much and fix a price with the taxi driver before you leave, bare in mind the journey to the top is about 15 mins.
