Local Customs: ICE CREAM. THE TURKISH WAY

You will find loads of local ice cream sellers dotted around Marmaris but this one is the most famous. This is one ice cream you won't forget in a hurry. The 2 men in the photo are a right laugh, they should have been on the stage performing,rather than selling ice cream. Every min or so when your least expecting it one of them wacks this cowbell with a stick and shouts ICE CREAM at the top of his voice, this either gives you a heart attack or scares the living sh#t out of you Hahahaha. When you pluck up enough courage to actually buy one of ther icecreams one of the lads puts the cone in a ring on the end of a stick and offers it to you, this is when he starts doing his tricks, basically you can't get hold of the bloody thing hahaha. This is one of the funniest things i have ever seen, and it certainly draws the crowds in. The ice cream's not bad either hahahaha.

Here is that famous ice cream man again, but a year older this time. We first met this man 8 years ago and everytime he gives us a good laugh. Try the cherry ice cream its delicious

You can't beat a local night dancing with traditional folk dancers, its a must for getting the old feet tapping hahahaha, mind you as soon as they started grabbing people out of the audience i was off up to the bar like a shot hahahahahaha (CHICKEN)hahahaha

This funny show was staged on the beach by the staff at the Hotel Green beach, and it is a funny virsion of a Turkish wedding. Trying to get people on the beach to marry this bride (who was a man) was hilarious

It is custom in Turkey to choose the actuall fish that you are going to eat, this restaurant had a huge fish tank with sea bass, i wonder why they don't do that sort of thing where i live, i certainly brings in the people
