Favorite thing: Marmaris has a very good tourist information centre where you can get any info you need about Marmaris including a very useful road map to help you get around, the staff are very friendly and helpfull

Fondest memory: You will find the tourist information office at Kordon Street located at the harbour area

Favorite thing: If you need to use a post office in Marmaris then look out for this sign, we found them very freindly and helpfull when changing travelers cheques and most of them speak good english as well

VACCINATIONS

Favorite thing: Ther are no compulsary vaccinations required for Turkey but a dose of anti malaria tablets would not go a miss, malaria can still be a problem in the med areas of Turkey

Favorite thing: As in most towns in Turkey, you don't have to wait at a bus or dolmus stop to cach a bus, if you hold your hand out anywhere along the route they will stop and pick you up

ONE DRINK SERVES ALL

Favorite thing: Heres a little tip you can try on holiday, just buy 1 drink and get hold of 20 straws, join all the straws together and then cut as meny holes as there are people, put one end of the straw in the drink and then everybody grab a hole and drink hahahahahaha, we did this at a local bar as you can see and it was a great laugh

FRUIT COCKTAILS

Favorite thing: Take a tip and visit one of the fantastic cocktail bars in and around marmaris. This one is a non alchoholic drink called the Cinderella, its a mix of fruit juices and grenadine with piped whipped cream on the top Mmmmmmmmm Delicious

Fondest memory: The best cocktail bars are in bar street. Just head for the marina and its behind the castle

Favorite thing: The best area to eat is at the Marmaris marina, there are loads of chique restaurants in this area and you also get the best veiws Marmaris has to offer, this area is great for a romantic dinner for 2
