2007, 10th anniversary of being back to China Hong Kong is divided (unofficially) to four regions: 1- Hong Kong Island, 7% of total size of HK, 22% of the population. The most important for business, politics and history. For toursts, HK Island important because they go to see Man Mo Temple, Victoria Peak, Aberdeen Fishing Village, Repulse Bay, and Stanely Market, etc. 2-Kowloon, the busiest for being the center for hotels, shopping centers and streets such as Nathan, and it also has museums, and nice park. 3-New Territories, The largest of about 67% of HK lands, and the fastest growing in recent yeas. 4-Outlying Islands such as Lantau, Lamma.
HK is celebrating in 2007 its 10th anniversary after it has returned to the mainland China, ending about 150 years of British era. | | | Aberdeen, Hong Kong Island |
