| | Geneva, and lausanne swiss side, french soul I spent a wonderful 19 days in Switzerland, had chance to visit, Geneva (geneve in French, Genf in German) Switzerland’s third-largest city, but surely the most international. One- third of the population of Geneva is from elsewhere, enjoying a prime location on Lake Geneva (lac leman), the biggest lake in the country, and it shared between France and Swiss. I started my three nights stay with city tour, had chance to see, the UN buildings, the flowers clock, the cathedrals. It has so high fountain (Jet d’Eau) located in the south bank of the lake,
From Geneva I visited Lausanne by Geneva lake, I spent few hours in the town, visited the museum of Olympic history. I read about Vieille Ville (Old Town), but all I saw the town was the lake side, and a wonderful restaurant nearby. |
