Window Rock is the capital city of my tribe. This is located in the southwestern region of the United States and the northeastern part of the state of Arizona. The capital itself is roughly populated between 10,000 to 20,000 people. Last I heard or read the Navajo Nation has about 150,000 people and increasing. The elevation is 6500 above sea level. During the summer time the typical temperature is 95 degrees. During the winter time the temperature can drop down to 10 degrees.

Hi siouxzanne2002, Greatings from France ! I attended the Navajo Nation Fair on sept, 2010. One of the best times of my life. Have a nice day, Marc
Thanks for the information about the Navajo Nation festival. I'd love to hear more about the area, especially from someone who lives here. Much thanks for sharing and hope you give us more information on this page. :)
Hi Siouxsanne ! I came across your homepage whilst doing some research for a trip next fall. We are hoping to be there for the Navajo Nation fair. Is accommodation difficult to find at this time? Enjoyed your pages and beautiful pictures of your family.
That's a striking photo of Window Rock! Look forward to seeing more photos!
