Chapter One-me

Warm and special greetings to all my viewers and thank you for visiting my webpage. First of all, I'd like to introduce myself. My full name is Suzanne Begay. I am a Native American from the state of Arizona in the U.S. My native tribe is Navajo or our true name Dine', which means 'the People'. In our tribe we have 4 clans( where our parents and grandparents originate from using descriptive words) but our parents are our main clans. Mine are 'Bitter Water' from my mother's side and 'Red Running into Water' clan from my father's side. This is part of our introduction among my people.
At this time I am still gathering more info for you all to see and know about me,my family and my tribe. Please be patient and I'll have it available to you as soon as i can. Thank you once again.

Ashley,My eldest daughter

This beautiful navajo girl just happens to be my eldest daughter. She is wearing a traditional outfit navajo women/girls wear during special ceremonies and other occasions. She was around 5 yrs old in this picture, she's just turned 11yrs old now. My daughter isn't full Navajo but shes is proud of both sides of her family. She is half German.To me my daughter is a symbol of hope that if two people from two totolly different backgrounds can come together and create something as beautiful as she is than there is hope for the rest of the world.

Kaleb, My newest addition

I not only had a recent birthday but i also had a recent addition to my family. Everyone, this is my new and only son Kaleb. Its taken 11 yrs but hes finally here. He was born June 10th at 7:43 am. He was 6 pounds and 15 ounces at the time of birth. Now, hes a little over a month old and has grown 3 inches and gained about 3 pounds since birth. And I thought weeds grew fast......lol.
