Great tips! You've been very busy. I'm hoping to get to Thailand before too long. : )
I agree with you about Khaosan Road. In the 3 years I lived/worked in Bangkok, I only visited around 5 times. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND Khaosan Road if you are in Bangkok during Songkran (ʧ¡ÃÒ¹µì). By the way, Songkran is April 13 - 16.
