Cairo Opera House: Opera!!!! Cairo Opera House Review

The Cairo Opera House was inaugurated on October 10th, 1988, following a void, which lasted 17 Years since the burning down of Cairo's first and World famous Opera House in 1971.The Opera is comprised of three theatres and an art library,It also has an art gallery and two museums.

My husband and I visited the opera house twice,a night visit to see a live music preformance on stage, and the other was a day visit to see the art gallery and the museum.
(I have to dig my pictures of it).

Dress Code: To see the opera, you must wear a neck tie,and ladies must wear formal.
but to see the galleries,it`s fine to be dressing casual.

This picture was taken from Cairo tower in 2006.

La Bodega*: A Hidden Beauty! Eating and Drinking Review

If it haven`t been for my Egyptian friend I would never have knew this place by myself,as nothing tells you that it even exists.

The restuarant is inside a Building on the 1st floor,After climbing the stairs around the elevator cage, a large stone relief welcomes you..

Dress Code: The place has two restaurants one offers a Bar the other one is designed in a Japanese style decor.

You can be dressed formally or casually,But as for me I always try to be dressy as this place is one of the Elite places in Cairo,Zamalik.

I would recommend reservations*
