El Morocco night club
It is decorated in the Moroccan style,as you can tell from it`s name.It`s located at the Blue Nile moored boat.This boat has 5 restaurants and a night club,I recommand all of them.
This night club plays international music as well as Egyptian and Arabic music,it has an inside dancing area(and a bar),and also has an outside seating area(if you want to escape the smoke and the crowd).
Best time to go starting from 11PM onwards.
closes at 3AM
Dress Code: Jeans are not acceptable,and reservations are highly recomanded.
Minimum charge policy applies,it`s 100 Egyptian pounds.

Le Pasha 1901
This Moored boat on the Nile has many options:
1-River Boat(seafood)opens til 3am.
2-IL Piccolo Mondo(Italian)open til 2am.
3-“l’Asiatique,formely named Johnny's pub,opens til 3am.(far eastren menu).
4-L'Oasis (mixed menu).
5-Akl Zaman(formenly known as Le Tarbouch).
6-Le Steak.(open 12:pm-1Am)french cuisine.
7-The Tycoon(dine & Dance)open from 9PM-2Am.
8-Carlo's for breakfast,opens from 9AM-12PM
and for casual dining opens at 7PM-3AM
Reservations required.
Dress Code: If it is winter time you should bring along a jacket if you are willing to dine on the deck level.If you are going to the night club down stairs,you should be well dressed.
Also have in mind that this place have the minimum charge policy which means what ever you have for dinner you will still pay the same amount of money,and prices go up in the summer times as the place gets crowded with Arab tourists.(min.charge is about 100 egyptian pounds) about 20$ per person.

The Cairo Opera House was inaugurated on October 10th, 1988, following a void, which lasted 17 Years since the burning down of Cairo's first and World famous Opera House in 1971.The Opera is comprised of three theatres and an art library,It also has an art gallery and two museums.
My husband and I visited the opera house twice,a night visit to see a live music preformance on stage,and the other was a day visit to see the art gallery and the museum.
(I have to dig my pictures of it).
Dress Code: To see the opera,you must wear a neck tie,and ladies must wear formal.
but to see the galleries,it`s fine to be dressing casual.

La Bodega entrance
If it haven`t been for my Egyptian friend I would never have knew this place by myself,as nothing tells you that it even exists.
The restuarant is inside a Building on the 1st floor,After climbing the stairs around the elevator cage, a large stone relief welcomes you..
Dress Code: The place has two restaurants one offers a Bar the other one is designed in a Japanese style decor.
You can be dressed formally or casually,But as for me I always try to be dressy as this place is one of the Elite places in Cairo,Zamalik.

Rumours is arguably Cairo’s best piano bar and one of its premier night spots.
It has live music and really good food from it`s international cuisine menu.
Reservations are a must! It opens from 10p.m to 3 am.
If you`re accompanied by an Egyptian friend,i`m sure he/she would point out to you many celebrities dining in the next table or celebrating their birthday at this spot.
Dress Code: Formal.
A jacket is required for men and an evening dress for ladies.NO jeans are allowed.
Also it has the minimum charge policy per person,,it`s about 100 Egyptian pound(less than 20$).

An out door resturant with a great view of the river Nile.
The menu is loaded with many Arabic dishes... also have a sushi menu.
Serves Shisha (water pipe or Hooka).
Dress Code: Be dressy,jeans are acceptable

SunSet Boat
One of the newly renovated moored boats on the Nile,,has many indoors restaurants with live music,a disco-tec, and on the deck there`s also a restarant which offers food and shisha(water pipe).
It closes down in the summer at 6 am.
minimum charge policy applies.
Dress Code: If you`re planning on sitting on the deck,you can wear what ever you feel like wearing,only have in mind to take a light jacket if it`s summer,and a coat if it`s winter..it can get cold sitting next to the Nile.

Cairo at sunset
It`s a very nice restaurant with DJ playing music,a dance floor and good food.
the place closes at 4-5am usually locals go there after hours when other places close.
The DJ plays all kind of music,from hip hop to latin and Arabic.you have to have reservations to be able to go in,and sometimes they would allow couples only.

the big buliding in the middle is the Grand Hyatt hotel...the building on the left is Semiramis Intercontinantel hotel,and the tube shaped building on the right is the Giziera Sheraton Hotel.

Wust El Balad band
A very nice pub with a live band,and a DJ that plays both Arabic and international music.
Reservations are a must ,
minimum charge is 100 Egyptian pounds.

Sangria restaurant
This restaurant is located at the river Nile front,(Formely known as Casino El Shagrah)Shagara means tree where there is an old tree that penetrates the whole building from inside the lower floor til the balcony upstairs.
the place was renovated in 2001,to have two restaurants,
Sangria and Absoulte.Both serve the same menu,which has a big variety of pizzas,
su-shi and Arabic appitizers.
Sangria has an open area on the Nile decorated in an oriantal atmosphere,on the upper level.
Absolute,on the lower level,which is decorated in an Indian style..
Best to visit just before the sunset and watch the sun dives into the Nile!
Both restaurants serve alcohol.
Dress Code: Casual dressing is acceptable!
BUT make sure to make reservations!Best to be visited on a Wednesday night...really crowded and nice.
