Among everything that has been said or writen about the Pyramids,ONLY seeing is believing!
I was very amazed of how well built the Pyramids are and how it could stand through time.
I first have visited it with an American couple that we(my husband and I)have met the day before. And although it was winter, but being there under the sun was not cold at all.
This picture was taken on a rainy day in Cairo...we (my cousins and I decided to go to the pyramids)and on our way there it started to rain...but when we got to the site...it was beautiful sunny day!
Check my Pyramids travel album for more pictures of the pyramids.
- Pros:Breath taking view.
- Cons:Very hot if visited by a day in Summers.

Think I'll have a sore backside, Camel & Horse rides, sounds like fun though!
This is definately one of our wish list destinations! nice site. Maybe I should let my kids (almost 2 and 5,5) ride Lulu as well :)
.......someday.....
The pyramids in Giza are really amazing! Have a Happy New Year, full of fun travels!
Warning - camels can take off without warning. Mine did and threw me off. All of a sudden, he was off and running! I fell onto the sand, wrenching my shoulder and back. It's a week now, and I'm still on painkillers!
The Pyramids I missed this time, but I have to get back to Egypt to see them later. Good tips!
Wow! Amazing opening photo with the sun rays!
Wow amazing but how come she suggest Vts to take the On-your-palm Sphinx photo, but she herself did not ? :-P Err ..are we not allowed to go inside the pyramid ? Hmm .maybe I will hire a dozen of camels for my entourage to Great Pyramid ..just an idea
