Jeddah or Jiddah is located on the Red Sea.it`s a very fast growing city.Lots of things to see and do,but my personal favourite is to shop til you drop:D

This is a picture of the sea front on the west side of the city.I took this picture right before the sunset on a Ramadan day(I was rushing to get to the restaurant where I had my Iftar).

    Just returned to see what's new since 2004. Quite a bit. Very interesting! First you made me hungry--delicious food suggestions--then you guided me to "Fitness Clubs." Not fair! lol I enjoyed your additions as much as the older ones!!!

    Hello Marimar, your tips for Jeddah are very helpfull. I will be visiting Jeddah on work and will be staying North Obhur.Please suggest a shopping malls there and any Asian restaurants in that area.Regards. Suvobroto

    Great tips and photos! I didn't know that public photography is prohibited in many places in Saudi Arabia. Glad that you were brave enough to take your great photos for us! :) Best from New Jersey, Bill

    Fascinating page. I only saw the Corniche and an old market , and no camera, but realise now couldn't have used it anyway. many of the customs have crossed the Red Sea to Sudan though sometimes modified.
