Don't forget the Alamo...

by Djinn76 - last update: Dec 28, 2003

Slightly more than an hour drive from Austin, San Antonio is for sure the best city in the area for tourism . Much smaller Fredericksburg could be a potential second choice.

The two major attractions of the city are obviously the Alamo and the River Walk / Paseo del Rio. Don't however forget the mission trail further in the south or simply walk through the city to admire its nice architecture...

Great page on my favorite (so far) city of Texas! The place i liked best was the governor's palace with such a pretty garden in the courtyard!
