I haven't seen much of Houston, coming from Austin, this was a pretty long drive and I hadn't enough time left to stay there...
My main purpose was indeed to see the Nasa center and that was definitely worth the drive...

Sadly, NASA does not get a penny for any of this. The contracting company that runs the facility does. NASA is a not for profit that gets money only from the govt, so the contractors make the bucks, not NASA.

Great tips on some of the best Houston highlights! You are right about the traffic...
