Coming directly from Amman and on my way to Petra I made an halt as well in Wadi Rum, another of the classical must-do of Jordan! I have only spent several hours in this area but it was enough to get this special feeling the desert can provide... Ideally, you should spent the night in the desert and admire the sunset... for the next time maybe! |

Vabate Sat Jun 24, 2006 14:00 UTC This house was built for a Hollywood movie. | TheWanderingCamel Sun Jun 11, 2006 07:43 UTC Hi Djinn! The small arch is called Rakebat al Vardek and is very close to the Khazali Canyon, not more than 10 minutes from Rum Village! The other arch is at Um Fruth. And finally the "Mountain of the Inscriptions" is Jebel Anafishiya.
