Restaurant Name: really local!!
Well, not really a restaurant since I was invited in a private house! I still don't know what was the reason, if they did it for the money, by hospitaly or simply because it was the Rammadan!
I was just chatting with some Bedouins girls selling their souvenirs when they proposed me to come to eat at their place for the price of a restaurant!
I was not to sure what to do but I finally accepted and I don't regreat it! The food was definitely better than the one you can find in an average restaurant for tourist (the day after I tried the Red Cave) and it was a good opportunity to discover their local life!! Really surprising indeed...
Apparently the withe tourists are not a common view in Umm Sayhoun, the new bedouin village!
The bedouin don't live under a tent anymore but in spacious but charmless concrete house. The most surpising is the total lack of furnitures except for the carpets...
Following the dinner, a maglouba, a dish that Bedouin are not supposed to usually cook (weird!), it was about time to relax...
We moved to another room, again almost no furniture except for many cushions along the wall and they switch on the TV!! Even worse, he then plugged in a DVD reader and started playing a stupid american movie...
