"Norway, on wheels" Rjukan by alfa338
Rjukan Travel Guide: 6 reviews and 19 photos
Since I live just a couple of hours drive away from Norway it has become natural to visit from time to time.
Eventually I will edit these travels in a more readable way, but I need to get better order in my archaivs first..
Some of my voyages in Norway has been by car and others by bike, and I must say I rate the biking as a much more giving way of travelling in this dramatic scenery
Whenever Roffe and I biked around Norway we used to camp out. As high altitude as possible, to avoid mosqitos, and near running water - for cooking and bathing. After a couple of days on the bike its a great feeling to take a bath in icecold water, the airtemperature beeing ~8C.
- Pros:Nature, roads, skiing, living
- Cons:High livingcosts
- In a nutshell:Worth it !
