Kuala Lumpur Off The Beaten Path

Off The Beaten Path: One Stop Information Complex
  • Tip Rating:
  • The Tourist Information Complex located at Jalan Ampang. It is the place where you can get all the information about Malaysia. You can also watch performances and a play every Saturday night at the theater. Dining can be so easy as there is the 'Saloma Cafe' that caters all traditional dishes but the price can be more than at the hawker centre. You can book your express bus ticket and ride on the MARA EXECUTIVE bus with great price. Ask anything you wanted to know.

This place is very easy to find as it is located at the main road of Jalan Ampang. If you take the PURTA, stop at Dang Wangi Station. Walk straight guided by the Petronas Twin Tower (KLCC) and it is on your right hand side. If you are from Jalan Sultan Ismail, walk along the Concorde Hotel and pass by the Hard Rock Cafe, turn right and walk straight.

Parks & Gardens: Picnic In The Middle Of The City Centre
  • Tip Rating: [Not enough ratings yet]
  • KLCC park have a nice view to offer you for a picnic.Buy your sandwiches and soda at TOPS supermarket.

It is always crowded on weekends and public holidays so I suggest you go on weekdays. My favorite spot is on the ground facing the fountain if there is not many people. If not, try the one faced the pond with great view of KL's skycrapers.

El Nino lost it's Latin Heat in March 2003 when it closed down. Somehow, never really recovered, and we were all very very sad for the loss. For the latest clubs in Kuala Lumpur, go to http://www.salsapower.com/cities/malaysia.htm..
