"Hong Kong Now and Hong Kong in 1986" Hong Kong by MINOSUKE

I visited Hong Kong for the first time in 1986 with my husband and my mother. And after the interval of 20 years I went there in 2006 with my friends.
Hong Kong was already a very active city in 1986, but a long absence of 20 years made me astonished and embarrased at the busyness of the city.
There are an incredible number of people on the streets and everywhere. They are walking very fast as if they had some urgent reasons. Traffic is so busy that we must always be careful not be hit by a taxi or a bus. I wondered how handicapped people or older people could live in that city.
But to the people who like shopping Hong Kong is a very attractive city.
And to the people who like culinary trip like me, Hong Kong seems a mountain of treasure.

Victoria Harbour and Tall Buildings

In the summer of 1986 I visited Hong Kong with my husband and my mother. We went up to the Peak to command the view of Victoria Harbour. We went on board the Night Cruise boat to enjoy the night view of the buildings. We went to Tiger Baum Garden, Stanly Market. We visited a small village near Shenzen and took pictures with some local old women. (I forgot the name of the village. The local people were living inside a circular wall.)
