Where to go on October 1st
Well, why not to Xitang. You should know that October 1st is a National Holiday in China and that it is getting quite busy. Surprise, surprise not so much in Xitang.
We had brilliant weather and two nice days in Xitang. The picture here I took from the balcony of the restaurant where we had diner. In my opinion Xitang is better than Zhouzhuang, prices are more reasonable and it is not so crowded. I couldnt believe that it was a National Holiday.

I am lucky, cos I do have a car. Anyway for all people who dont, just take a bus to Jiaxing (Zhejiang) and there change... more travel advice
