One thing I like Europe is I can easily go abroad to meet another culture, and this can be made within one day :-)

We took Interliner bus from Maastricht to Vaals (30mins), where there has a highest hill (altitude 321m) of the whole country of The Netherlands. And this little hill needs to be shared with other 2 neighbour countries, i.e. Germany and Belgium :-) From the point we stood, you can tell Germany gets the lion share of the pie...:-)

The hill is small and lovely...some choices for bars and restaurants. But also it is a bit touristic place, where you see more tourist buses than people...haa...:-))

I am standing on the Netherlands side, but 3 nationes' flags are everywhere...heee...ok, one global, one world...or one villlage :-))
