Mykonos is very beautiful, however, in some way it was built for tourists. Colourful buildings, shops, shops, shops...
In order to go to Delos island (Greek ruins), we have to stay overnight in Mykonos because there are only morning ferry available to Delos (9am, 10:15am & 11am). The last ferry back from Delos is around 15pm.
Mykonos have some nice beaches (but again many tourists) as Paradise, Souperparadise, Platy Yagos, Paranger...Walking from Platy Yago to Paranger beach was nice. We reached the rocky edge of Paranger, it was wonderful feeling... |

I was there as well - wonderfull! But important: The mentioned bus station is the place they call "Fabrica" - busses are as well departuring from the harbour. So dont mix up the busstations while trying to find the tavern! | Confucius Mon Jun 13, 2005 09:37 UTC
