Meeting Claus upon arrival - June26

9pm, Danshostel

Claus was very punctual to show up at the Danshostel. (I appreciate people who are on time) I basically throwed him quite a few questiones re sightseeing in Copenhagen since I didn't do too much homework myself...haa :-)

Claus is such a world traveller and adventurer on his bike, who has a lot of increditable stories to tell. I think his stories in Brazil did inspire me...Also, thanks him to provide us accomodations later on.

Claus, I am looking forward to reading your books!

Why Copenhagen?

The Palace

Copenhagen is the first city that I visited in the Scandinavia region. I should have done well planning to also visit the others, ie. Sweden or Norway...however, I am kinda of a "click & go" type of person...I booked the ticket after chatting with Roy who I met in Maastricht before. I knew he was gonna to go to Rosekilde for the musical festival...it was a pity that I even didn't pay a visit in Rosekilde...hee...why? I left the 24hr train ticket home...anyway, you won't see everything at one time and I can always go back...So, the aspiration to go to Denmark after Greece mainly was due to two main reasons: 1) to cool down in a place with mild weather and fairy tale stories :-) 2) to meet Roy (Imaniac, Dutch) and of course Claus (Cachaseiro, Danish)

Peter, the guy that Doris met in the bar, showed us around the town the next day. He is not that talkative except saying "sure, sure" all the time...He is origionally from Rosekilde. Another Danish we met.

Tivoli has its big name on every tourist information for its Victoria type of buildings...However, unless you have spare... more travel advice

Was recently in Copenhagen myself, and decided to skip Tivoli and concentrate on the other sites. Best wishes for your birthday! :)

Hey Vivian. It was really great meeting you and Claus in Copenhagen. The city was great and I loved the Tivoli.
