On the last part of our walk - " The Finisterre Extension " we met up with some Really Great people and often went out for a meal or a beer together after our days walking !! -- One of the Best things was to have a Beer or a Glass of good local wine then just Sit Back and watch the sun go Down !!!! --- Wonderful !!!!

betako3 Sun Mar 23, 2008 21:19 UTC Wow! That must have been an experience. Camino has recently become quite popular in Poland too. I remember quite a few articles about it in various newspapers and magazines. Congratulations on completing the pilgrimage even if it was 4y.ago :) ! | newyorkerman Fri Jul 27, 2007 19:18 UTC Thanks for the terrific and detailed description of the Camino. Santiago is a place which I have wanted to visit all my life. Now I know the best way to do that!!! :-D | smyturn Thu Aug 17, 2006 09:21 UTC Rob, loved The Camino! Thank you for the recommendation. Best walk I've ever taken. Your pages are wonderful and bring back great memories. | deecat Tue Oct 11, 2005 00:51 UTC Rob, this was a very enjoyable read and view of Santiago de Compostela. It's obvious that you enjoyed this walking tour. The cathedral is, no doubt, quite lovely. Thanks for a great vicarious experience. |
