Best time to go
Sept. & Oct. are the best for warm water and nice weather. San Carlos 12 mi. west of Guaymas is the place to be.
Water temp is nice until Nov. Cold water persists until late Apr. Good scuba and fishing in mid Summer months.
Pros and Cons
- Pros:Not overly commercial and safe
- Cons:Downtown area crowded
- In a nutshell:Where the Sonora Desert meets the sea.
