I went to visit my son at The University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida and he took me floating down the river at Gennie Springs. A really cool place, literally. The spring water is chilled, but in the 90 degree weather of a Florida summer it feels quite good. If you are any where near Gainesville, this is a good place to spend a lazy afternoon floating down the river. More pics in the travel logue. |
