Charlottetown Travel Guide: 141 reviews and 105 photos

I was in New Brunswick for about a week and a half for a course and had the weekend off. Never having been to Prince Edward Island my buddy and I rented a car a drove there on friday night. Charlottetown does not feel like a capital city of a province. It is quite small and everything closes down on Sunday. Obviously I was not there during prime tourist season but I still quite enjoyed myself.

Pros and Cons
  • Pros:Relaxing and easy to see on foot.
  • Cons:Hard to find budget accomodation, quite hard.

    I enjoyed this small page on your thoughts regarding Charlottetown, especially looking down the barrel of a cannon! Great tips & photos on the Rodd and also Government House. Good luck in Kandahar!
