What To Buy: The homemade alcohol on Isle of Man is ManX. It is a clear whiskey and it comes in a bottle as shown in the picture. If you look around in liquor stores on the island you should be able to find it fairly easily.

The big Whiskey distillers got Manx Whiskey reclassified - it's not old enough to be whiskey. Now they just call it "Manx Spirit." It's a bit gimmicky for my taste - if you want whiskey, buy whiskey; if you want a Manx brew buy their beer! |
