Don't miss the amusement park in central Rostock, but remember, it's only there during Christmas. Anyways, the rides are nice and the most expensive one (for example the power tower that can be seen in the picture) is about €4.

Directions: The most rides are next to Lange Strasse, but there are some for the childres also at the square next to the "Raathaus".

Things To Do: The St. Petri Church

The old St. Petri Kirche (Church) is very old and was bombed during the World War 2. Today they have rebuilt it and you can visit it for free. Although you have to pay around €1,50 if you want to go to the top. See the picture.

I didn't catch the name of this mall, but it was very pleasant walking around there because of the Christmas spirit. This is why I think that Rostock is better during the Christmas time than during the summer time. The picture is taken on 10th Dec 2004.

I'd recommend you to visit Rostock between the end of November and Christmas eve because then there is a Chistmas market (which I enjoyed alot). "Fröliche Weihnachten" means "Merry Christmas".
