Very nice town that have a lot of properties around to visit and relax, the climate is wonderful and the people is very nice. Some properties that I visit and I will recommend are Posada LA CALSETA, posada MOCUNDO, La concepción, Posada de HENRY.
From Bejuma going through Aguirre and Canoabo you will find Canoabito, the ride is very nice with beautiful landscapes, you can go and buy tallas (Word carving) from different artist at very good price (cash only). Las tallas are a very typical Venezuelan souvenirs and adornments; they are done by people that live remote of the urban world in contact with the nature, they work the Wood and painted by hand with figures of different saints or holy virgins, like San Jose, San Antonio Virgin Maria) |
