Going back home after a hectic day in the capital of the Empire ( I am not talking about Washington DC). Chances to get home by dinner are low...Indulge to a good sushi and one(hehehe!) cold beer in this place. Prices are reasonably reasonable for us, men and women working in the Archipelago
Favorite Dish: Maguro is good. Katsuo is great. Iwashi tataki is yummi. Inari is sweet. Cold Beer is cold. Sake is fine.

They prepare delicious burguers and sandwiches with a delicate Japanese touch. A bottle chilled Japanese white wine ( Santa Carolina -uh?-) goes for the cost of two beers...And, hey!, it combined well.

I said hamburger are the main thing here, but who knows. We have been in economical recesion for quite a while. Perhaps when you come and visit it will be a shoes-shop. In that case, do not hesitate and ask for soft shoes...It could take you the whole day to eat them. But look wha tI want to really say is that if you are alone there is this bar-like counter were you can be seated in a blink. So, do not wait till they ask you, go and tell them youar alone that she left you and that youare desesperate. Do not cry...Remember: men do not cry!!!
Favorite Dish: Hambuerger, shoes, and who knows...If ti becomes a Pachiko Parlor you will be eating steel balls.

Yoshinoya: Faster impossible!!!

Restaurant Name: Yoshinoya
The biggest chain of "Gyudon" in Japan is Yoshinoya. In accordance to the region, a similar restaurant would be there. This is fast-food with the grace of Asia and by any means healthier. What's is Gyudon. Gyu stands for cow, don is a short for donburi (no grammar rules apply here). And donburi is a bowl. Make yor arithmetic and you will find a cow inside a bowl. Wrong!!! Donburi is a bowl with rice. And gyudon is a bowl full of rice with cow meat on the top. If someone offers you an X-don, he/she is inviting you to eat a bowl of rice with X on the top. Tendon= Tempura-don and so on, so forth.
Favorite Dish: For the low price any of the gyudon is ok. You decide how much rice you want: Oomori (a bit more), futsu(regular but for a western too much). REmember that for the Japanese the important thing to eat is the rice...the rest is mana from heaven. The breakfast is just excellent for 250 yenes: grilled fish, rice, miso"soup" and pickles. BTW, it is open 24 hours a day....
