where is mexico...you got that right..cancun is a good convenient hub..
I was in Cancun while it was deserted, so I think I got the best of it. Don't think I'd return unless it was to get to Isla Mujeres or some other site.
yes, cancun can be a good base to arrive to this wonderful country and then leave from to discover the real mexico :-)
Pros on Cancun: The warm bath water ocean and sizzling nightlife. Cons on Cancun: The MOSQUITOS !!!!! In a nutshell: Bring bikini, salsa shoes, and BUG SPRAY ! ;->
