Zipaquirá: a bustling community. Rather noisy at least the day on which we visited -- many street vendors, especially of produce. Sounds of loudspeakers passing by on top of vehicles, or echoing our way from another street.
This is a very nice view from up on the hill at the side of Zipa which goes up to the famous underground Catedral de Sal (Salt Cathedral). The church in the distance in the picture stands over the main plaza of the city. |
