How would you like to live in a windmill? | No wonder VanGogh's paintings looked like they did |
Just outside of the town of Dordrecht is a lovely tract of canals, dikes and windmills. Pleasant walkways allow you to stroll through the "neighborhood" and look at these beautiful windmills. Some of the homes have nice vegetable gardens, lawns and ducks and geese swimming in the canal.
One windmill is set up to tour for a small price. It's interesting to walk through and see how things work in a cylindrical home. |
