More than a Golfer's Mecca

Old St. Andrew's

The old cathedral
Ask a stranger, what is St. Andrews about and they will probably say either, GOLF, or maybe, that's where Price Will went to school.

But Old St. Andrew's is so much more. What an incredibly lovely little town. The ruins of the old Church are definitely worth a visit. You can feel the ghosts of lives that lived in years gone by.

The old Cathedral is mostly ruins now as the stones that were used to build it have been taken away to build more modern edifices.

Pros:"A charming town with some beautiful ruins"
Cons:"Way out in the sticks"
In A Nutshell:"Go for Golf, stay for the beauty."

Saint Andrews looks like a great place to visit, even if I don't care for golf.
